A South Korean research institute recently stated that the Galaxy S26 series models equipped with the self-developed Exynos 2600 chip will only be sold in Samsung's domestic market, while most models for the global market will still use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The report points out that although the Exynos 2600 is Samsung's first 2nm GAA process flagship chip and Samsung is full of confidence in its performance and competitiveness, it is difficult to roll it out to overseas markets on a large scale due to historical issues in terms of security, yield, and heat generation.
