On November 27th, Alibaba officially rolled out its Quark AI Glasses, marking their debut with two distinct series—the S1 and G1—which encompass a total of six models. The S1 series boasts three models, each distinguished by unique frame styles and colors, with prices starting at 3,799 yuan. Meanwhile, the G1 series places a premium on fashion and portability, offering two frame styles as well as a sunglasses variant, with prices commencing at 1,899 yuan. All six AI glasses come pre-loaded with Alibaba's cutting-edge Qianwen AI assistant.
In terms of hardware, the S1 series is equipped with dual flagship chips and employs a dual-light-engine binocular display solution, boasting a brightness of 4,000 nits. It supports ultra-swift 0.6-second capture, 3K video recording, and outputs 4K video following super-resolution and super-framing processes. Additionally, it features an innovative SuperRaw low-light enhancement technology. The G1 series, while also incorporating dual flagship chips and supporting 3K video recording, does not include a screen display, thus contributing to its more budget-friendly price point.
Both series are outfitted with a five-microphone array and bone conduction technology, ensuring precise sound pickup and noise reduction. Moreover, they feature a dual-battery swappable design, enhancing their usability for extended periods.
