Recently, WeChat has rolled out the 8.0.66 beta version specifically tailored for iOS devices. Notably, the system compatibility criteria have been elevated, shifting from a requirement of iOS 14.0 or above to a stricter mandate of iOS 15.0 or later. This adjustment implies that, upon the official launch of version 8.0.66, users of older iPhone models that are incapable of upgrading to iOS 15 or a subsequent version will find themselves unable to access the latest iteration of WeChat.
