From January to October in 2025, China's e-commerce sector has emerged as a dynamic force, actively driving consumption, spurring industrial development, and fostering greater openness, thereby consistently unleashing fresh momentum. Across the nation, online retail sales witnessed a 9.6% year-on-year increase, with smart products, online services, and on-demand e-commerce standing out as key performers. Specifically, online retail sales of smart wearable devices soared by 23.1%. Online service consumption also experienced a robust 21% growth. Moreover, the combination of in-store dining with the purchase of online vouchers for offline experiences saw a remarkable 25.1% rise, while on-demand e-commerce sales climbed by 24.3%.
