In August 2025, the domestic market witnessed mobile phone shipments totaling 22.603 million units, marking a 6.0% year-on-year decline. Notably, 5G mobile phone shipments stood at 19.992 million units, showing a 1.2% year-on-year increase and constituting 88.4% of the total mobile phone shipments during the same timeframe. Meanwhile, shipments of domestic brand mobile phones reached 21.298 million units, experiencing a 4.0% year-on-year decrease and accounting for 94.2% of the total mobile phone shipments in the corresponding period.
