On October 16, Wei Wei, the Vice President of Meituan and General Manager of its In-Store Dining Business Division, disclosed that over the past year, Meituan has delved into three key areas: ecological refinement, service innovation, and operational enhancement. In a bid to forge a superior dining ecosystem, Meituan plans to extend the reach of its Black Pearl and Must-Eat Lists to a broader array of cities. Additionally, the Dianping star rating system is set to undergo an upgrade, aiming to tackle prevalent issues like inflated ratings and fraudulent reviews. This year, Meituan's in-store dining segment will prioritize the development of three pivotal services: VR reservations, Quick Order, and intelligent ordering, all designed to elevate the consumer dining experience.
