According to reports from investment bank analysts, although Apple has shifted part of its iPhone production to India, it still currently relies on China's supply chain. It is projected that in fiscal year 2026 (starting from October 2025), approximately 9 million iPhone 17 units will be produced in China and directly shipped to the United States. Apple is adopting a 'dual-track' strategy, increasing production in India on the one hand, while committing to investing US$600 billion in the United States on the other hand to build a domestic silicon industry chain. The report points out that due to the impact of importing iPhones from China and tariffs, Apple's earnings per share in fiscal year 2026 may decrease by 5%.
