Apple has implemented two improvement measures in response to traces found on the backs of iPhone 17 series display units. After investigation, it was confirmed that these traces were not scratches but material residue caused by prolonged contact between the metal ring of the MagSafe charging bracket and the device body. To address this issue, Apple has added silicone protective rings to the edges of MagSafe brackets in some retail stores to reduce direct friction between metal components and the phone's back panel. Additionally, the company has instructed store employees to use cleaning solutions containing salt components, focusing on areas prone to residue buildup on the device's back. Practical tests have shown that a mixture of water and sea salt can effectively remove residue without damaging the device body. Currently, Apple is continuously improving the appearance maintenance of display devices by optimizing accessory design and standardizing cleaning procedures.
