During the first seven months of this year, China's e-commerce sector has sustained its healthy development trajectory, effectively stimulating consumption growth and accelerating the digital transformation of various industries. The market for digital products and trade-ins has remained robust, with online sales of computers, smart wearable devices, and mobile phones experiencing notable increases of 29.9%, 28.4%, and 20.3%, respectively. Furthermore, service consumption has exhibited rapid growth, as evidenced by the 24.8% surge in online tourism sales, a 16.6% increase in catering sales, and an 11% rise in entertainment sales. Notably, the strategy of leveraging foreign trade to expand domestic sales has yielded remarkable outcomes, with sales in the foreign trade sections of major e-commerce platforms surpassing 4 billion yuan since April.
