On July 24, Japan's latest H3 carrier rocket, designated No. 6, triumphantly concluded its static firing test at the Tanegashima Space Center. This rocket introduces an innovative "3-0" configuration, featuring three liquid-fueled main engines without the need for boosters, a design aimed at significantly reducing launch costs. It is anticipated that the expense of a single launch could be minimized to approximately 5 billion yen (roughly 240 million yuan), marking a roughly 50% reduction compared to the cost of launching the H2A rocket. The H3 carrier rocket is a collaborative effort between the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
