Zhengzhou Bus and SF Express have inked an agreement to pioneer a groundbreaking model of cross-sector integration, blending "bus transportation, logistics, and ecological sustainability." Under the terms of this agreement, both parties aim to leverage the underutilized capacity of bus vehicles, particularly during off-peak hours and overnight when buses are parked, to initiate the delivery of small express packages. Furthermore, select bus depots will undergo a transformation into versatile logistics hubs, functioning not only as bus transfer stations but also as urban sorting centers, front warehouses, and self-pickup points for SF Express. Currently, this partnership is in the promotional phase, with actual combined passenger and cargo transportation yet to commence. Nonetheless, numerous regions have already embarked on similar initiatives, integrating bus services with logistics to enhance the efficiency of transportation resources.
