During a recent gathering, the Ministry scrutinized the environmental impact assessment report and construction license application for Units 1 and 2 of the Zhejiang Jinqimen Nuclear Power Plant, and approved three ecological environment monitoring standards. The meeting stressed the need to intensify oversight during the construction phase of nuclear power plants, ensuring that all relevant entities adhere to their nuclear safety obligations. It also called for the enhancement of the experience feedback mechanism, thereby safeguarding the high-quality construction of nuclear power projects and compliance with environmental protection regulations.
