Nanjing recently convened the Brain-Computer Interface Industry Cultivation Conference, during which it officially released its ambitious plan. This blueprint outlines Nanjing's aspirations to emerge as a leading hub for scientific research and technological transformation in the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) by 2027, with a broader vision of becoming a national industrial innovation center by 2030. The strategy underscores a concerted focus on five pivotal technical areas, notably BCI models and sensors, while also emphasizing the importance of attracting and nurturing high-caliber talent teams to accelerate product application. Furthermore, Nanjing intends to establish two industrial parks and a suite of public service platforms, thereby fostering a comprehensive industrial ecosystem that spans from cutting-edge research breakthroughs, technology commercialization, to widespread industrial applications.
