On July 2, the Huqiangbei Supervision Office of Shenzhen Market Regulation Bureau issued a directive to all markets under its jurisdiction, mandating a strict ban on the sale of power banks lacking 3C certification. This regulation extends to both online and offline sales channels, and expressly prohibits the listing of export-intended products on the domestic market. The directive, which was promulgated on July 1, has prompted several merchants to proactively liquidate their inventories of non-3C-certified power banks in order to align with the new regulations.
