On October 27, CATL made public its signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration with INTILION, a prominent European energy storage solutions provider. Over the forthcoming five-year period, the duo will jointly implement 3GWh of CATL Tianheng energy storage systems across territories such as Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. These systems will be utilized in large-scale grid applications as well as industrial and commercial settings. Notably, the system features a cycle life surpassing 15,000 cycles, ensuring stable operation for up to 25 years. Moreover, it sustains high discharge power even at -20°C, rendering it particularly apt for the colder regions of Europe.
