According to reports from foreign media, informed sources have disclosed that SpaceX is formulating plans to secure no fewer than 80,000 cell sites throughout the United States. Currently, SpaceX is actively engaged in discussions with at least one prominent communications infrastructure firm to further this initiative. Should a relevant agreement be successfully concluded, it would pave the way for SpaceX to emerge as the fourth national wireless carrier in the U.S. It has been reported that among the companies SpaceX is in negotiation with is Crown Castle, which, alongside American Tower Corp. and Vertical Bridge Holdings, ranks as one of the largest holders of tower assets in the United States.
