China's surgical robot sector has successfully shattered foreign monopolies and is now entering a phase of swift expansion. Projections indicate that the market size will surge to RMB 22.45 billion by 2026 and escalate further to RMB 70.85 billion by 2030, boasting a remarkable compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 33.3%. Chinese-made surgical robots are rapidly expanding their global footprint, with a significant uptick in exports during the first eight months of this year. Notably, exports from Guangdong province have quadrupled. A pertinent company in Shenzhen has outlined plans to amplify its export operations by 2025, aiming for overseas revenue to constitute 70% of its total by the first half of 2026. Its products are already being sold to numerous countries overseas and have successfully performed intercontinental remote surgeries. Capitalizing on their high cost-effectiveness, superior quality, and rapid innovation cycles, Chinese-made surgical robots are accelerating their global outreach. From January to August this year, their export value reached RMB 672 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 272.9%.
