South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT raised the country's cyber crisis alert level on Thursday in response to two critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities found in the programming language PHP. The alert level was elevated to 'Alert' at noon local time, the second lowest level in the four-tier warning system. Relevant companies and government agencies have been instructed to update their systems and securely patch the vulnerabilities.
