The provision of SpaceX's Starlink and military satellite service, Starshield, in Ukraine has ignited a firestorm of controversy. On October 18, Ukrainian President Zelensky revealed that tests conducted by the Ukrainian military had uncovered a concerning issue: satellite terminals would disconnect when moving at speeds surpassing 161 kilometers per hour within Ukraine's borders. In stark contrast, these very same devices operated seamlessly at speeds exceeding 180 kilometers per hour within the European Union.
