Google recently announced an adjustment to its Chrome Vulnerability Reward Program (VRP), with the new rules taking effect immediately. The aim is to encourage security researchers to uncover memory corruption vulnerabilities in Google's browser. After the adjustment, the base reward for memory corruption vulnerabilities has been increased from a minimum of $500 to $2,000, while verified controlled write vulnerabilities in the browser, network, and GPU processes can earn rewards of up to $20,000.
