The State Administration for Market Regulation has officially rolled out the first-ever national standard specific to perovskite solar technology, titled "Photovoltaic Devices Part 12: Measurement Methods for Current-Voltage (I-V) Characteristics of Perovskite Photovoltaic Cells and Modules." This standard is slated for formal adoption in 2027. It introduces a rigorous, dependable, and adaptable framework for measuring the I-V characteristics of perovskite solar cells and modules, thereby addressing the absence of standardized testing protocols for cutting-edge solar technologies in China. Serving as a unified benchmark, this standard will underpin testing and certification processes, product innovation, production line quality assurance, and international trade transactions.
