On September 16th, news emerged that the construction project for ENN Fusion's Spherical Tokamak Hydrogen-Boron Plasma Platform, known as the 'Helong-2' device, officially got underway on September 15th at the ENN Fusion R&D Center located in the Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Spanning an area of roughly 120 acres, this project will center on constructing over ten core systems, with the ambition of establishing a globally pioneering experimental platform for hydrogen-boron fusion. It is anticipated that by the end of June 2027, the site will be fully prepared for equipment installation. Furthermore, by the close of the same year, the construction and commissioning of the device will be finalized, paving the way for the experimental phase. The ultimate objective is to accomplish successful hydrogen-boron fusion experiments by 2030.
