Unitree Robotics has recently introduced its cutting-edge humanoid robot, the G1+, which boasts six significant enhancements across three pivotal areas: motion performance, perceptual interaction, and intelligent experience, all while preserving an affordable market stance. This upgrade emphasizes improvements in neck flexibility, joint motor efficiency and thermal regulation, visual and tactile sensing capabilities, power supply and endurance, as well as far-field voice interaction capabilities. The standard version of the G1+ is competitively priced at 95,000 yuan (tax included), whereas the pricing for the G1+ EDU variant remains undisclosed.

The G1+ showcases a 2-DOF (Degrees of Freedom) neck mechanism in its head, offering a pitch angle range from approximately -25° to 36° and a yaw angle extending up to ±110°. The shoulder and waist motors have witnessed a remarkable 110% increase in peak torque, coupled with a 72% reduction in heat generation under identical torque conditions. Similarly, the arm motors have experienced a 43% boost in peak torque, with a 30% decrease in heat generation. The thigh motors also demonstrate a 28% reduction in heat generation under the same torque, ensuring optimal performance. These motors utilize a low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous solution, complemented by a localized air-cooling system to guarantee stable operation.

In terms of its perception system, the G1+ integrates a dual-vision setup comprising binocular and wide-angle monocular cameras, alongside 3D LiDAR and an abdominal wide-angle camera. The head is adorned with five touchpoints, and far-field sound capture is facilitated through a 6-microphone array, enabling functions such as sound source localization. The waist is equipped with dual 10W speakers for enhanced audio output. A new DC 54.6V, 5.7A external power supply port has been incorporated at the back, while the battery remains a 9000mAh quick-release smart battery, providing approximately 2 hours of endurance. It also retains intelligent OTA (Over-the-Air) update capabilities.

When standing, the G1+ measures approximately 1340×450×200mm and weighs around 35kg. The standard version features 25 joint degrees of freedom, with a maximum arm load capacity of roughly 3kg. The G1+ EDU version expands this to 25+45 degrees of freedom, offering optional accessories such as dexterous hands. The arm load capacity is elevated to around 4kg, and it presents a high-computing-power module option to facilitate secondary development, along with an extended warranty period of 18 months, ensuring long-term reliability and support.
