Tinci Materials has announced the completion of its pilot production line designed for the large-scale (hundred-ton) production of lithium sulfide and solid-state electrolytes. This facility is poised to enter the trial production phase starting in the third quarter. Following this milestone, the company will be positioned to offer a full suite of solid-state battery material solutions to its downstream customers. In addition, the previously planned expansion—a technical transformation production line with an annual capacity of 35,000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate—has also been finalized. The release of production capacity from this new line will be phased, aligning with market dynamics and customer orders. Given the rising demand from downstream sectors, the utilization rate of the lithium hexafluorophosphate production line is expected to maintain a high level.
