On August 23, it was reported that Nagoya University in Japan, in collaboration with Fujifilm Corporation, has successfully developed a novel lipid nanoparticle (LNP) capable of efficiently delivering cap-circular RNA (Cap-cirRNA) into animal bodies for the first time. This LNP not only enhances activity by 10-fold but also exhibits extremely low inflammatory responses, opening up new avenues for the future development of long-acting mRNA therapies. The relevant research findings have been published in the latest issue of the journal Cell Biomaterials.
