According to Welle Technology Group, the carbon peak and carbon neutrality-focused science and technology fund project undertaken by the group has recently achieved a major milestone. The full suite of demonstration equipment for biomethanol production, which is based on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) and green hydrogen, has commenced operations at the project site in Xuzhou, and biomethanol has been successfully synthesized. Following rectification and purification processes, third-party testing agency analyses reveal that the methanol purity has reached an impressive 99.9%, satisfying the criteria for high-purity methanol products. This development signifies a significant leap forward for Welle in the realm of organic waste resource utilization and green energy integration technology, marking a notable shift from technology research and development to practical engineering demonstration.
