Ning Boyu, widely recognized as Huawei’s ‘prodigy,’ recently took to social media to announce his resignation. After dedicating over three years to Huawei, he decided to forego a lucrative annual salary exceeding one million yuan, opting instead to return to his native village in Hunan and assist his family in selling corn. Presently, he has been honored with the EU’s ‘Marie Curie Fellowship’ postdoctoral scholarship and is set to embark on further academic pursuits at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He plans to bring his expertise back to China upon the completion of his studies.
