On June 24, Amazon announced that it will build the largest "minute delivery" network in India, expanding its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, to over 300 cities. Meanwhile, Amazon has launched the "Sammaan" program to improve the welfare of tens of thousands of delivery personnel serving its e-commerce and express delivery operations. This program will receive partial financial support from Amazon India's recently announced $300 million investment plan for operations and employee welfare.
