According to several sources familiar with the matter who spoke to Indian financial media, Facebook's parent company Meta has been in discussions over the past few weeks to invest in Indian fintech payment startup Cred, with the deal valuing Cred at $4 billion (equivalent to INR 3.8 trillion). This valuation is slightly higher than Cred's reduced valuation of $3.5 billion in 2025, but significantly lower than its $6.4 billion valuation during its last major funding round in 2022.
