Shanghai Port Leads Nation in Robot Exports, Surpassing 8.3 Billion Yuan in First Five Months

During the initial five months of this year, Shanghai Port has emerged as the nation's leader in robot exports, with a remarkable total value reaching 8.36 billion yuan. These robotic products have been shipped to 113 countries and regions, constituting over 40% of the entire nation's export value in this category. Specifically, cleaning robots accounted for a significant portion, with an export value of 6.11 billion yuan, making up 71.6% of the total. Meanwhile, industrial robots also saw a notable surge, with their export value hitting 2.13 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 39.5%. Notably, exports to Germany and Japan witnessed substantial growth, surging by 84% and 36.5%, respectively.
