According to sources familiar with the matter, India has frozen the approval for commercial operations of Elon Musk's Starlink in the country amid concerns over the use of Starlink satellite terminals in the Iran conflict. Security agencies under India's Ministry of Home Affairs have yet to grant final permission, with core concerns stemming from the fact that although Starlink has not been authorized in Iran, its terminals have still appeared in the Middle East conflict, raising doubts in New Delhi about the controllability of U.S. operators during periods of geopolitical tension.
