In the United States, the California State Assembly has recently approved a groundbreaking bill aimed at regulating 3D printing technology. This move is in response to the escalating concern over untraceable firearms produced through 3D printing. The legislation, designated as AB 2047 and formally known as the 'California Prevention of Gun Printing Act,' secured passage in the Assembly with a decisive vote of 58 in favor versus 19 against.
