According to the World Energy Investment 2026 report released by the International Energy Agency on Thursday, the total global investment in renewable energy projects is expected to reach approximately $665 billion by 2026, with solar energy projects accounting for $365 billion of that total. Nuclear energy investment is also set to continue its recovery, with annual investments exceeding $80 billion, as nearly 80 gigawatts of new nuclear capacity are currently under construction in 15 countries.
