On April 27, the National Energy Administration made an announcement at its quarterly press briefing, revealing that 24 provinces (including autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) throughout the nation have rolled out supportive policies for direct green power connection. So far, 99 projects of this kind have received approval, boasting a combined installed capacity of new energy sources amounting to 34.05 million kilowatts. Leveraging the existing policy framework for single-user direct green power connection, the National Energy Administration has recently devised a policy tailored for multiple-user direct green power connection. This new policy enables new energy sources to directly supply power to multiple users via dedicated lines, thereby encouraging the transition to clean energy in industrial parks and zero-carbon parks, and fostering broader adoption of new energy. The official release of these pertinent policies is imminent.
