As per the most recent budget papers, the US Air Force has laid out plans to acquire close to 4,300 long-range stealth cruise missiles from Lockheed Martin by 2031. These missiles are formally known as Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM). It's worth noting that the US military has previously deployed these weapons in military actions targeting Iran.
