At precisely 7:30 a.m. on April 19th, the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon, accompanied by the Humanoid Robot Half Marathon, commenced. Spanning a 21.0975-kilometer route, the event witnessed over a hundred humanoid robot teams racing in tandem with 12,000 human participants. In a remarkable display of technological prowess, the autonomous humanoid robot 'Lightning' from the Qitian Dasheng team clinched the championship, completing the course in a swift 50 minutes and 26 seconds. The Leiting Shandian and Xinghuo Liaoyuan teams followed closely behind, securing the second and third positions, respectively. All three robots surpassed the existing human half marathon world record, marking a historic milestone in the fusion of robotics and athletic competition.
