On April 15, 2026, Unitree Technology officially announced its decision to enter its 2023 H1 (fine-tuned iteration) humanoid robot into the upcoming humanoid robot half marathon, scheduled to take place in Beijing on April 19. Throughout internal testing phases, the H1 model demonstrated remarkable performance, clocking a best time of just over 50 minutes for the half marathon distance. Moreover, it previously made headlines by setting a world record with an impressive speed of 10 meters per second. In addition to Unitree's participation, numerous independent teams are also set to compete, utilizing Unitree's robotic products as their foundation.
