Recently, a groundbreaking advancement has been made in the realm of interface regulation and thermal management for semi-transparent perovskite solar cells by a collaborative team. This team is led by Professor Li Guiqiang from the Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering, School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China, and includes Professor Ye Xuanli from the City University of Hong Kong. Drawing inspiration from the 'pharmacophore' design concept prevalent in medicinal chemistry, the team has introduced a novel interface molecular design strategy. This innovative approach has successfully facilitated the simultaneous optimization of charge extraction and heat dissipation processes. Notably, this strategy has led to a significant enhancement in both the efficiency and stability of the solar cells, all while preserving their high light transmittance. The findings from this research have been duly published.
