On April 14, 2026, at precisely 12:03, the ZK-1A Yao-12 carrier rocket, developed by CAS Space, soared into the skies from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone. Employing a 'one rocket, eight satellites' launch configuration, it successfully and accurately placed eight satellites into their designated orbits. This milestone event marked the 12th successful launch of the ZK-1A rocket series.
Meng Xiangfu, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the ZK-1A rocket project, disclosed that at present, the annual production volume of the ZK-1A rocket has already surpassed 10 units. Furthermore, he emphasized that there are plans to scale up production, with the potential to reach an impressive 30 units per year in the foreseeable future.
