On the occasion of Apple's 50th anniversary, Chris Espinosa, a veteran employee, shared his story in an interview. In 1976, at the tender age of 14, he joined Apple riding a moped, becoming the company's 8th employee and the sole founding member still with the company today. Over the past half-century, despite numerous changes in his job responsibilities, Espinosa has remained a loyal Apple employee, earning the title of a "lifer."

He recalled that the early days of the startup were a golden era, a time when they were "creating an entire industry from scratch." Even while attending school, Espinosa worked part-time for Apple. Eventually, he dropped out of school to return to Apple full-time, encouraged by Steve Jobs himself. During a period when the company underwent massive layoffs, Espinosa felt lost and uncertain about his future. However, he ultimately chose to stay with Apple.

He said bluntly (note: corrected from "Speak frankly" for proper English expression) that, in contrast to today's impetuous tech industry, Apple's approach to innovation and business is starkly different. The company's long-term vision and commitment to excellence have set it apart from the rest.
