On February 10, as per the official WeChat account of Western Construction, the Xingcheng Plant, a subsidiary of Western Construction, recently signed a contract for the construction of Interstellar Glory’s Reusable Liquid Launch Vehicle Production Headquarters Base Project. The contracted volume stands at 20,000 cubic meters. This agreement signifies Western Construction’s maiden venture into the high-end manufacturing and construction sector for launch vehicle production headquarters, thereby further broadening its business scope within the realm of “new infrastructure.”
Developed by Interstellar Glory, China’s pioneering private commercial rocket company to achieve orbit, the project entails a total investment of approximately 3.3 billion yuan. It will boast four intelligent assembly lines and two digital testing lines, with production slated to commence by the end of 2026. The project is anticipated to establish a core production capacity of 20 reusable liquid launch vehicles annually, thereby bridging the gap in the rocket assembly industry in the southwest region of China.
