On February 10th, information from Tianyancha’s intellectual property database revealed that Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd. has recently been granted a patent for its innovative "robot leg structure and legged robot." This patent pertains to advancements in legged robot technology, featuring a leg structure composed of a thigh link, a shin link, and a shin power unit responsible for driving the rotation of the shin. Notably, the shin power unit is ingeniously positioned within the thigh link. In contrast to the conventional side-by-side layout, this design optimizes space utilization, resulting in a more compact structure. Consequently, it reduces both the body width and overall size of the legged robot, enhancing its agility and maneuverability.
