On February 3, the 2026 Singapore Airshow commenced, with China's homegrown commercial aircraft, the C919 and C909, taking part. Throughout the airshow, the C919 passenger aircraft, the C909 medical - purpose aircraft, and the C909 aircraft operated by Indonesia's TransNusa were all showcased together in the static exhibition zone. Moreover, the C919 also put on a flight demonstration.

The C919 is designed to carry 158 - 192 passengers and has a flying range spanning from 4,075 to 5,555 kilometers. On the other hand, the C909 can transport 78 - 97 passengers and has a range between 2,225 and 3,700 kilometers. At present, more than 200 aircraft of these two models have been handed over to customers. They are now in operation on over 800 routes, having already transported more than 36 million passengers.

Furthermore, Shanxi Success Aviation inked a deal with COMAC, placing an order for six C909 firefighting aircraft.
