On February 2nd, marking the first day of the Spring Festival travel rush, China Eastern Airlines commenced regular commercial operations of its domestically manufactured large aircraft, the C919, on the route from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport to Zhuhai Airport. To date, China Eastern Airlines has deployed its fleet of 14 C919 aircraft across a network of 18 routes, spanning 14 cities nationwide. Throughout the Spring Festival travel rush period, these 14 C919 aircraft are projected to handle an average of over 50 flights daily, reflecting a significant year-on-year increase of 52.6%.
