The European Union is considering increasing support for its local industries. Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia, stated on the same day that Europe and the United States are mutually dependent in the technology sector, and that large tech companies cannot rely solely on a single continent for development. In an interview with Reuters, Hotard said, 'No company can stand alone in either Europe or the United States; both markets are indispensable. In the technology industry, the window for enterprise development and the right to win in the market depend on technological cycles, making it extremely important to have broad market access channels.'
