On January 27th, the "Huantian Satellite Constellation Construction Project" commenced the process of comparing and selecting bidding agencies. The entity issuing the tender is Huantian Smart Technology Co., Ltd., with the total project investment estimated at around 1.2 billion yuan.

The project's blueprint entails the development and launch of 22 remote - sensing microsatellites. Additionally, it includes the construction of a set of 12 - meter S/X remote - sensing satellite ground receiving antennas along with the necessary supporting equipment. At present, the bidding and procurement processes for 10 satellites, ground receiving antennas, and other related facilities have been successfully concluded.

This round of comparison and selection is specifically geared towards choosing a bidding agency for the upcoming procurement of remote - sensing microsatellites. It's worth noting that back in May 2025, MN Satellite Tech Co., Ltd. emerged as the successful bidder for the development and launch project of 10 remote - sensing microsatellites within the Huantian Satellite Constellation, securing the contract with a bid price of 804 million yuan.
