According to the UK's Financial Times, which cited five anonymous sources privy to the details, Elon Musk has put forward a proposal for SpaceX to undertake its initial public offering (IPO) in June. This timing is set to coincide with a rare planetary alignment event and Musk's birthday. Since mid-December of the previous year, SpaceX's Chief Financial Officer has been in discussions with current private investors regarding the possibility of accelerating the IPO to mid-year. The company aims to raise funds up to approximately $50 billion, with an estimated valuation reaching around $1.5 trillion.
