On January 6th, Meta disclosed that the Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses (Ray-Ban Display), which stand as a pioneering product in their category, are grappling with exceptionally scarce inventory levels. Since their debut in the fall of the previous year, the market's reception has been exceptionally enthusiastic, far surpassing initial projections. In fact, the waiting list for the product has stretched all the way to 2026. In light of the soaring demand and the constraints on inventory, Meta has made the decision to halt its previously planned international expansion into the UK, France, Italy, and Canada. This expansion was originally slated for early 2026. Instead, the company will focus its efforts on fulfilling the demand within the U.S. market and will re-evaluate its strategy for international supply.
