Today, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi Group, launched his inaugural livestream session of 2026, during which he tackled the problem of "fine print" used in Xiaomi's promotional posters. He emphasized that employing fine print for disclaimers is an unethical practice prevalent in the industry, and Xiaomi will promptly take corrective action. Nevertheless, he also clarified that labeling compliant practices as false or over-the-top marketing is a misconception about Xiaomi.
