On December 31st, the globe's inaugural offline store, born out of a partnership between JD.com and Unitree Technology, officially swung open its doors at JD MALL's Shuangjing branch in Beijing. This store prominently showcases Unitree Technology's flagship offerings, such as the G1 humanoid robot and the Go2 quadruped robot dog. Wang Qixin, who serves as both the Director and Chief Marketing Officer at Unitree Technology, expressed that the era of humanoid robots becoming household staples might be just around the corner. Drawing on the example of Unitree's quadruped robot, the Go2, he highlighted that it is already adept at carrying out straightforward tasks like collecting takeout, picking up parcels, transporting water, and carrying bags.
The store boasts a total of four robot models up for grabs, with the Go2 Pro robot dog priced starting at 19,999 yuan and the G1 humanoid robot available from 85,000 yuan. Shoppers have the convenience of making purchases directly in-store or placing orders online by scanning QR codes, with the flexibility to choose between in-store pickup and JD.com delivery services.
